Top performers from across the agency network celebrated in style at Saturday night’s Network Sales Awards.
Seven branches picked up awards – at the glitzy event at the Troxy in London – for their excellent sales results over the past 12 months.
Moorgate branch (pictured) in London picked up the prize for Overall Best Performing Branch. Subpostmaster Rajesh Thakor said: “We have worked very, very hard this year.
“Every year we want to be at this stage and we know if we work this hard we will be.”
Thunder Lane main branch in Norwich won the award for Best Agency Branch (in the centrally supported network). Subpostmaster Neal Gurney said: “I am super proud and owe a lot to the staff at the branch who have been incredible.”
There were also wins for Pocklington branch, East Riding of Yorkshire, in the Most Improved Branch category and Warstone Lane branch in Birmingham for Mails.
Shawlands branch in Glasgow won for Telecoms. Rochdale branch in Manchester scooped top prize for Financial Services and Kennedy Centre branch in Belfast celebrated a win for Travel.
More than 500 people, from nominated agency and Crown branches, were there to cheer on the winners on the night as they picked up their gongs from TV presenter Gaby Roslin and Post Office senior managers.
